The differences in apoptosis-associated gene expression may also be caused by the different availability of matrix metalloproteinases among both granulosa cell types. The simplification of the temporal behaviour of the circuit eases design problems with the circuit. It can be seen that each of these types of circuits has trade-offs in their usefulness. An asynchronous circuit is quicker, but this at the cost of having a harder timing analysis to do on the circuit. Synchronous circuits are easier to construct, but at the cost of using more resources at the end of every clock period the data has to be stored in a register, requiring plenty of storage ; . Before making a decision on the type of circuit to be used, the use of the circuit needs to be considered. An Ada program defines a set of data and a sequence of operations on that data.
